ATHN Data Summit 2017

Welcome to ATHN Data Summit 2017!

In 2017, ATHN embarks on another decade of inquiry and improvement on behalf of the bleeding disorders community—and we look forward to continuing the progress we’ve made together. As we build and strengthen our partnerships and collaboration, we bring HTC teams, investigators, federal partners, and funders together to fulfill our mission: to secure data, advance knowledge, and transform care. Join us at this year’s Data Summit for updates on ATHN’s ongoing projects and to find out what’s on the horizon.

    Directions and Transportation

    O’Hare Ground Transportation

    Airport Shuttle
Loews Chicago O’Hare is located just two miles from the airport and offers a complimentary airport shuttle to all guests. The shuttle also serves the nearby CTA station.

Please note: O’Hare Airport will be undergoing maintenance/renovation starting May 1, 2017 and lasting 6 months. During that time, the Loews shuttle will only be able to drop off guests at the airport at the “shuttle drop off/pick up area”. Previously, guests going to the airport from the Loews Chicago O’Hare would be dropped off at their individual gates. Sadly this won’t be possible during this period. Given the size of the airport, guests should allow extra time to get to their gates as they will need to walk over from the shuttle area. This change affects all airport hotel shuttles, not just our own.

Where to Catch the Shuttle from the Airport to Loews Chicago O’Hare
    • For domestic flights, pick up is at the Hotel Shuttle Center, Door #2. Exits to the shuttle center are located by baggage claim. Follow the red Shuttle Center signs.
    • For all International flights or for domestic flights between 1 AM and 4 AM, please call 847-544-5300 to arrange for service.
    Bus/Shuttle Center

The Bus/Shuttle Center is where you can catch regional buses, our airport-hotel shuttle and other hotel courtesy buses. Parking shuttles and airport rental car agencies are also located here.

    Airport Transit System

The ATS is a free rail system operating between the domestic terminals, the international terminal and long-term parking lots. The service runs 24 hours.

    Rental Cars

Rental car agencies can be found near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1, 2, and 3 on the airport’s lower level.

    Taxi Cabs

Shared ride service is available and taxicabs can be located on a first come, first serve basis at the lower level curb front of all terminals.
